If you live in Europe and you have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Xperia XZ, which we have dubbed the “real 2016 flagship” from Sony, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s almost upon you. That’s because the smartphone is now available for pre-order in several markets. And while the handset may be enough to convince you to get it, Sony Mobile is throwing in a free Sony MDR-XB950BT Extra Bass wireless headphones to tempt you further.

The Xperia XZ has gained some interest when it was announced a few days ago mainly because it seems like a better proposition on paper than the other Xperia X devices. Some reviews called it one of, if not the best Sony smartphone that has been announced. It has a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel display and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. It has 3GB of RAM and either a 32 or 64GB of internal storage. It boasts of a 23MP main camera with phase detection and laser autofocus, plus a 13MP wide angle front-facing shooter which can shoot 1080p video as well.

You can pre-order this device until October 5 in the following countries: UK (£549), Germany (€699), Italy (€699), Netherlands (€699),Sweden (SEK 6,990) and Poland (2,990 Zloty). You will also be getting the Sony MDR-XB950BT headphones along with your phone so you can listen to your music with that all important extra oomph from its Electronic Bass Boost. It seems that third party retailers in the UK are also making this offer, specifically Carphone Warehouse at £499 and Clove at £549 among others.

The Xperia XZ will be available in three colors: Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum. It is expected to be available for purchase by October, although what specific date and which specific markets have not yet been announced.
