T-Mobile’s fancy new myTouch 4G Slide has been given a release date and price point. The keyboard-equipped dual-core phone will be arriving at T-Mobile on July 27th for $199.99 with a new contract and $50 mail in rebate. The phone will also be up for pre-order a week early, on July 19th.

The myTouch 4G Slide may sound like its just the myTouch 4G with a keyboard, but don’t be fooled. Powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core snapdragon, its more akin to a smaller (and admittedly not quite as sexy, but pretty darn close) Sensation 4G. It’s running Gingerbread out of the box (with a healthy dose of Sense 3.0 of course).

What T-Mobile and HTC seem to be most proud of here though is its Camera. You can read all about what they’re claiming is the most advanced camera on a smartphone in our coverage of its announcement. So keyboard lovers, camera fanatics and those of you just not sold on the 4.3″ screen on the Sensation, get your wallets ready.
