Star Trek Trexels has been around for sometime now on the Apple App Store. It just went live on the Android platform a few years after the iOS version was launched in December 2013. Fans of Star Trek will be delighted to know that the game is now available on Google Play so be prepared to take command of your own starship.

You can be the hero of the USS Valiant. Starfleet has chosen you to finish the mission within the Trexelian Expanse. It’s a deep area in space where mystery abounds. Starfleet wants you to build a ship and choose your own crew. Go on and learn the fate of the Valiant. In the name of the Federation, explore the Expanse and challenge yourself to continue with the mission.

You’re on an epic journey across a galactic map. Build a ship how you imagine one should look and select different modifications and room types. You’re in command now so you are free to assign your crew, choose your officers, and train them. Teach them how to increase their abilities so you can send them soon to several missions.

If you’re looking for an authentic Star Trek experience, this could be one of it. George Takei himself did the narration plus the original soundtrack from ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’ was used. Gameplay is impressive as it uses a next-gen LCARS interface too. The unique “Trexelated” art style offers that retro feel that geeks and gamers like you and me would love.

Star Trek Trexels for Android is free but in-app purchases are offered.
