Hey there! It’s been a while, you guys. But don’t worry, your favorite “Games of the Week” section is back with more games than you can save in your 8GB internal storage module. It’s our mission to make sure no Android user is bored without any games to tap on in his/her games arsenal. So sit back, relax, download a game or three – because we know you need it, and you know you want these.

LEGO Movie Video Game

At long freaking last, the LEGO Movie Video game is now available on Android. Yes, this was the video game that served as the companion app for the pretty awesome LEGO Movie, and Android users are getting it a full two years after the movie was released. What’s up with that? But be that as it may, it is finally here, with more than 90 characters available to play with from the movie. The list includes Superman, Gandalf, and Batman (who will be getting his own LEGO movie by February 2017). The game is now available for download, and it will cost you USD$4.99. But the cast, as with the movie, is totally worth it.

Battleborn Tap

With a title like that, you know that there will be tapping in this game. Yes, lots of tapping. The Battleborn universe needs a hero. As the player, you only need your fingers to control the heroes and beat those enemies. No complex actions needed, just tap your way to victory. As you go, you can unlock different levels and recruit more Battleborn to join your cause. Of course, you upgrade skills, abilities, and weapons. The more kick-ass your weapons are, the better chances of winning! Yay! Battleborn Tap is free to download and play, and the requisite IAPs can be found in-game.

Uncharted: Fortune Hunter

Uncharted is one of those signature franchises from Sony PlayStation that took a while to show up in Android. But it is now here, albeit in a simpler form. Eschewing its roots of third-person action adventure shooting, Uncharted: Fortune Hunter is purely a puzzle game. Of course, the hunky Nathan Drake – the franchise’s leading character – makes his appearance as well, and it is good to see Drake in a different setting, not chasing stuff and running away from bad guys. Players will have to solve the puzzles mainly relying on logic, sequence, and direction. It’s not the most exciting game there is, but for puzzle lovers, this should be a blast. The game is free to download via the Play Store.

Tome of the Sun

If action adventure RPGs are your type, you will most likely not run out of new games to play in Android. The Play Store is a virtual factory of these, churning out RPGs at a dizzying pace. Sometimes it’s difficult to pick out the good ones. But don’t worry, that’s what we’re here for – and we suggest you check out Tome of the Sun. You get to lead heroes and mighty battle pets in your quest to reclaim the titular tome. The Epic Story Mode will lead you to a campaign that has access to more than 150 dungeons. The game also has PvP action, Clan Wars, and even resource management gameplay, if that’s your deal. The RPG is free to download, with IAPs.

Golf Star

Golf Star is not a new game, but it is celebrating it’s 3rd anniversary – so we thought we’d feature it as it really is a great golf game. Granted, a lot of you might not be golf fans – but for those of you who play the game but just don’t have the time to get in some tee time, this will be a welcome diversion. The game has been updated to celebrate its third year, and there’s a new Match Play Mode that allows you to compete with other players instead of just playing with yourself, err… in the Stroke Play Mode. Aside from the new mode, there are lots of new courses and new equipment in the shop for those of you who want branded stuff. The game has been free to download all these years, and still is at this point. Enjoy!
