I used to be a big fan of the Angry Birds franchise but after numerous game versions and expansions, there came a time that it made me want to barf. Well, there really is no stopping Rovio for making money with the very popular birds. Aside from Stella POP, Rovio now has Angry Birds Go! as one of its current bestsellers. Game now boasts more than 130 million downloads and the number could still increase with the new party mode.

The party mode on Angry Birds Go! allows two players to play against each other over WiFi. These players can play on two different mobile devices, whether a smartphone or a tablet, to start a competition. This is the first time Angry Birds fans can compete with other people. Multiplayer in Angry Birds Go! is expected to be a winner because it allows players to be competitive.

This change also makes Angry Birds Go! more social than ever. It doesn’t just allow sharing your scores and other information on Facebook or Twitter, you can also play with real friends as long as they are on the same network.

Game is currently in one-on-one player mode but it should be available for multiplayers very soon. Rovio is still developing that mode so we’ll let you know once it’s ready.
