Chinese phone maker ZTE has just released three new budget-friendly smartphones that are expected to be quick bestsellers, at least, in China and some parts of Asia. The ZTE V3 trio includes the following models: ZTE V3 Extreme Edition, V3 Energy Edition, and V3 Youth Edition. All models boast of an aluminum body, fingerprint scanner, and super affordable price tags.

As with previous ZTE phones, the three V3 models are within the budget category but the specs, specifically the fingerprint scanner for security and the aluminum body for durability, make them premium. ZTE wants more people to have access to Android and their phones’ pricing can definitely drive in more sales. Actually, there are more affordable phones compared to the ZTE V3 trio but the Chinese company has already proven its name in the mobile industry.

All ZTE V3 phones–ZTE V3 Youth Edition, ZTE V3 Energy Edition, ZTE V3 Extreme Edition–come equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 1080p resolution, Snapdragon 615 with octa-core CPU , 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 3000mAh battery, 13 Megapixel f/2.2 rear camera, 5MP front-facing cam, 4G LTE, and a Full Metal casing. Each phone weighs 160g and has these dimensions: 155.3mm x 77.2mm x 8.55mm. Out of the box, each ZTE V3 model runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Nubia UI 3.0.
