ZTE may be soon be facing some challenges in the next few months but there’s no stopping this Chinese OEM from rolling out new smartphones not only in its native China but also in its neighboring Asian countries. In Thailand and Vietnam, ZTE recently launched the Blade D2 as part of its budget-friendly Android lineup. It’s not just any other smartphone because it packs a huge 4000 mAh battery. That size isn’t very common yet but we’ve seen a few devices already like the Huawei Y6 Pro, Huawei Enjoy 5, Acer Liquid X2, and the Lenovo P70.

The ZTE Blade D2 aka Blade-T620 also comes equipped with the following: 5-inch HD IPS LCD display, 1.0 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735P chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, microSD card slot for up to 64GB added storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity, micro USB port, GPS with A-GPS, 2MP selfie camera, and an 8MP main camera with a single LED flash.

The phone is already listed on ZTE Vietnam website for only 26,90,000 VND. That’s about $121. It should be available in Thailand and other countries in Asia next quarter. The device is ideal for mobile gaming, thanks to its Mediatek processor that allows very vivid colors, vibrant display, and realistic graphics. But obviously, making this a clear winner really is the 4000 mAh battery for a super long battery life.
