Another ZTE phone is in town–meet the Black D Lux. This new model from the Blade series is another addition to the brand’s lineup of midrange Android smartphones for Asian release. It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS HD screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 2.5D curved glass display, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

ZTE is currently popular in the US as one of the top providers of unlocked phones but it has not forgotten its roots. The new Blade D Lux will be available soon in Singapore and Vietnam complete with a 13MP rear camera, LED flash, 8MP front-facing shooter, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, Dual SIM slot, 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3000 mAh battery. Smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 64-bit chipset with Adreno 306 GPU.

We have no information when it will be up for grabs in the two countries exactly but the ZTE Blade D Lux will be available for SG$239 and 3,890,000 Vietnamese Dongs. That’s about $166 and $173 when converted to USD. No idea if ZTE will bring this to other countries and regions or if it will be at least available in the US. We’ll let you know soon.
