Earlier this month, we told you about the newest smartphone from Chinese company ZTE, the Axon 7, which has high-end specs but at a much affordable price. The global rollout of the device has now started and its first stop outside of its home country is Europe. If you live in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, you will now be able to pre-order it through Amazon. While some may not be familiar with the brand, but looking at the specs, you’d probably want to try it out.

The Axon 7 has a 5.5-inch 2K AMOLED display and inside, it runs on a Snapdragon chipset. It has an impressive 4GB RAM and you can choose from a 64GB or 128GB internal storage and you can 128GB more to it through a microSD card slot. The device cameras are also pretty impressive with the main one at 20MP and with Phase Detection Auto Focus, OIS and an F1.8 aperture, with the front-facing shooter at 8MP.

Jacky Zhang, CEO of EMEA and APAC, ZTE Mobile Devices, emphasized that the Axon 7’s combination of “eye catching design, top-of-the-line specs and an affordable price” will most likely create interest in the European territories where it will be available. We’ll also see once again how well-received (or not) phones from China will be, as brands like Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi and the lot continue to expand their wings outside of Asia.

The Axon 7 is expected to be available by July 30, although Amazon France states it will be earlier on July 25. It will also be eventually available on GrosBill and offline at Media Markt and Phone House. Price is set at £359 in the UK and €449.99 for the rest of the European countries where it will be available.
