The Zagat app has ratings and reviews of 40,000 restaurants, nightspots, hotels, and shops in the neighborhood you live and all around the world.

The app allows the user to take advantage of GPS to find places to eat, sleep or play close to where they are. The app also has an advanced search capability to help you find the type of food you are looking for. Users can also make reservations instantly from within the app.

Zagat also offers a top list of the best places to eat in the city. A desktop widget is also offered along with the app. Zagat isn't a free app; it sells for $9.99 and can be downloaded right now on the Android Market.
