For those who rely on video streaming services to keep updated with all the tv shows, movies, documentaries, etc, chances are you probably don’t just watch all of them under one service. Sometimes, it gets a bit difficult to keep track of where you watch them, when you should watch them, and which is the best app to watch them. Yahoo Video Guide wants to help you solve that problem by giving you all that information under just one app.

Basically, what the app does is allow you to search for your a show that you’re looking for, whether it’s a current one or something you want to binge watch over the weekend, or a movie you’ve been meaning to see. The app will then tell you which of the video streaming apps are carrying the specific video you’re looking for. Then if you have the app installed in your device already, you just tap on the playback button and it will lead you to the app where you can watch said video.

If you’re still not decided what you want to watch, you can use the app’s Mood Picker to see their suggestions. There are GIFs there representing various genres or moods available and just choose one that matches your preference at that moment and you’ll see a list of recommendations based on it. The app will also show what are the newest movie and tv show releases and where you can access them as well.

Yahoo Video Guide is now available in the US only. You can download it from the Google Play Store for free.

Isn’t this pretty much the same as already existing apps such as Yidio or Findable.TV?
