If you have a little downtime on your hands and you don’t want to spend it just scrolling through your Facebook or Twitter feed, chances are, you’d want to just mobile games that are not too complicated but should be addictive enough to keep you occupied. Lately we’ve seen the rise of the minimalist arcade games, and we’re welcoming another one to the fold. Meet Bing Bong, now available for your mobile game needs on your Android smartphone and/or tablet.

The game’s goal is pretty simple. Get the bouncing green ball from one end to the other, tapping to slow it down in order to avoid getting eaten by the colored squares. But you also need to collect the white circles that come along for bonus points. So to recap: white circles good, colored squares bad.

But there’s a catch (of course there is). Whenever you slow down the green ball, it grows in size, making it harder to avoid the killer squares. So yes, that does make it more complicated right? The one touch simple controls of the game makes it easier to learn playing although we cannot assure you that your frustration levels will not rocket. If you’re feeling competitive with yourself, there’s now a high score counter while you’re playing. If you’d like to check your score against other people, there’s also a leader board available.

The best thing about this game? It’s absolutely free and it doesn’t even have any ads to bother you. There’s just one tiny IAP but all it does is donate a dollar to the developer (hey he has to earn a living right) but will not in any way affect your gameplay. You can download Bing Bong from the Google Play Store.
