Just as we all suspected, Verizon has officially gone and terminated their “New Every Two” program. Giving an added bonus to customers who kept the 2-year contract, the program will sure be missed.

For those unaware the program allowed new lines of Verizon service to be eligible for an equipment discount, which would usually save the user $30 to $100, after a two-year contract expired.

You still will be eligible for the subsidized pricing on handsets after your contract expires, you just will not be receiving the added bonus of the service fee.

This plus the new $350 early termination fee for smartphones marks Verizon heavy push into keeping users with a single device over the span of their contract.
