Verizon and Ellipsis have been in partnership for some time now delivering quality tablets and jetpacks to consumers in the United States. We first heard of this deal when the Ellipsis 7 tablet was launched by Verizon a couple of years ago followed by the Ellipsis 8 and the Ellipsis Jetpack. This time, a new Ellipsis Kids Tablet was recently launched containing interactive content and games curated by education experts.

The latest Ellipsis tablet joins the other kid-friendly tablet like the Fuhu nabi ELEV-8 Android Tablet, Polaroid Kids Tablet 2, Kurio, EE Shop’s 4G Robin tablet, and the Amazon Fire Kids Edition.

Specs of the Ellipsis Kids tablet include an 8.0-inch IPS display screen, a 5MP rear-facing hi-res camera, 1.3MP front-facing cam, 16GB built-in storage, microSD for up to 32GB memory expansion, 5000mAh battery, WiFi, 4G/LTE connection. The latter can be enjoyed on Verizon‘s reliable 4G LTE network.

The Ellipsis Kids tablet already includes free Zoodles Kid Mode subscription so children and parents can access age-appropriate games, apps, and videos that are not only entertaining but also very educational. It’s a safe environment for kids so parents can stop thinking about what their kids are doing or accessing when they are not around. The Zoodles team regularly checks and curates the items that can provide a kid-friendly environment.

Parents will be grateful that the tablet comes with child lock, app blockers, and time limits. It will be ready for purchase next week, November 12, Thursday, from Verizon for only $249.99. Parents can even choose to get kickstands and bumpers in different colors for a more customized Ellipsis Kids Tablet.

Device is also available under these plans:

• As add-on: $10.41/month for 24 months
• 0% A.P.R. for $79.99 with a 2-year agreement
• Verizon plan starts from size S with 1GB ($30/month) to XXL with 18GB ($100/month)
