We’ve recently shared with you our first impressions of the Moto Z and now we’ve got more good news: the Moto Z together with the Moto Z Force will be offered by Verizon before July ends. We’re expecting that over the weekend or by next week, the mobile carrier will start shipping the new Android phones.

On Verizon, the two will be known as the “Droid Edition”. Pre-order is now open for the devices but will be ready off the shelves, in stores on July 28. Note that Verizon is the first to offer the Moto Z and Z Force in the country. If you’re a huge fan of Motorola’s Moto phones, you can order for one now from Verizon.

Moto Z Force Droid Edition will be offered under a two-year contract with a monthly fee of $30. The Moto Z Droid Edition can be availed for $26/month for 24 months. Since the phones boast of a “modular” design, they are compatible with a variety of Moto Mods.

We have yet to see what other Moto Mods are available but so far, we know of a few like the JBL SoundBoost Speaker, Moto Insta-Share Projector, and Kate Spade New York and TUMI battery packs. We’re excited to see the Style Mod, Adventure Mod, Pro camera Mod, Power Mod, Stereo Mod, and Theater Mod–or whatever Lenovo decides to call them.

Motorola is also selling different Style Shell units that can be easily snapped on and switched. We don’t know exactly when these Moto Mods will be available but definitely soon after the Moto Z phones are released in the market.
