Yesterday we finally found out nearly all the details about the new LG G2 smartphone. The flagship device from LG looking to take on the competition. With a 5.2-inch world’s thinnest 1080p HD display, quad-core processor and more this phone is pretty exciting. They confirmed it will be available on all four major US carriers, and now we’ve learned Verizon will have one exclusive on the device.

LG revealed that with 90 days their new G2 smartphone is expected to be available from nearly 100 different carriers on a global basis. Which means they’re pushing this new smartphone quite hard. We mentioned all 4 major US carriers would receive it. Not to mention T-Mobile and Verizon have both confirmed they’ll be rocking the device this summer.

Verizon tweeted a photo of their version, complete with the Verizon Wireless and 4G LTE logo everywhere. It’ll have three Verizon logos, and two LG logos. Branding everywhere! At first we weren’t digging it, but now we know why it’ll have Verizon branding all over the back. That’s because Verizon will be the exclusive US carrier to have an LG G2 with wireless charging.

We’ve reached out to LG and Verizon for more details, and will update once we hear more, but it looks like the rear of the G2 on Verizon will have some extra features. So that could be why they decided to brand the heck out of it. The Optimus G Pro and latest Verizon Lucid 2 all featured wireless charging, so we’re assuming Verizon will bundle that LG Qi Wireless charger with the new G2 when the time comes.

Stay tuned for more details as we’ll update when we learn more. And tell us, does adding wireless charging capabilities make you want this phone more? Find out everything about the G2 from our hands-on.
