Hooray for updates! US Cellular has sent out an update on when Android 2.2 Froyo will be available for upgrade on a set of their lovely Android phones. They say that the Acclaim will be available by the end of the week (five days from now, if you’re counting,) and the Desire will be available for upgrade by the end of the month. Next they list the Apex for upgrade around March, and the Mesmerize for update around March as well.

That list of updates to Android 2.2 Froyo are again:

• Samsung Acclaim: within five days from this post
• HTC Desire: within the next few weeks
• Samsung Mesmerize: March
• LG Apex: March
