A gift from Motorola to you. All you Milestone users in the UK can update to Android 2.0.1. All you have to do is go into settings then select system update and you soon can bask in 2.0.1 in all it’s glory.

Here’s what Motorola said via their facebook page:

“To all UK Milestone users, the OTA server is up and you can now install the Android 2.0.1 update on your device – simply go to ‘Settings’ then select ‘System Updates.’ If you’re in France, Germany or Italy and haven’t updated your Milestone yet, you can also install it via OTA…”

Although this isn’t the long awaited 2.1, Motorola did keep their promise of delivering an update even though the phone has no official local network. Hopefully 2.1 is right around the corner. Let the 2.1 begging begin!!!
