For those who travel a lot, you probably have TripIt on your Android smartphones to help you manage your flights, bookings, and all other information you would need on your trip. The developers have released an update that has made some changes in the design and UI, and has added several more features to make traveling even easier. Plus, they have also released an Android Wear app so you don’t even need to bring out your smartphone when you need immediate information.

First of all, although they did not explicitly say it in their press release, the new look of the app is more Material Design than ever. You now have the standard icons to represent fights, hotels, cars, etc. They have also added a bunch of useful, new features. You can now do your mobile check-in through the app without having to go to the airline site or app. You can now also find ground transportation options for the places you’re going to and add parking reservations if needed.

You can also now add multi-day activities in your app’s calendar to reflect it in your itinerary. And if in case you have two trips you need to merge, you can now do so and even move your plans from one to the other. Lastly, the maps and directions have been enhanced so that you can get to your destination easier.

You also now have the Android Wear version of TripIt so you need only glance at your smartwatch to get your travel information, It even has a timer that will count down to your departure time. You can get the Android Wear version and the Android version from the Google Play Store of course.
