Most of us expect our smartphones to do more than just talk today and thankfully, they can. Surfing the web on devices like the Droid X is becoming more and more common and many users want to listen to music on their Android device too.

A company called Thumbplay Music has announced that it now has a new app that supports Android devices that allows the user to listen to all the music they want from the library of about nine million tracks. The cool part is that the service supports offline play so you can listen to that music when a connection is not available.

The app also supports the import of playlists from iTunes along with import of tracks from favorite artists. The app can be grabbed with a free three-day trial and monthly service starts at $9.99.
