ZTE continues push for US entry-level market with Imperial II

A lesser known fact about ZTE is that it is in fact the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the US market, mostly due to its entry level phones in the off-contract market. The China-based smartphone manufacturer now looks to consolidate its market share with the Imperial II smartphone, an entry-level device LTE-capable device.

ZTE launches WiFi-only version of portable wireless projector

At CES last year, ZTE displayed a curious gadget that was a combination of a WiFi hotspot and a portable video projector. That device got launched in July 2014 as the ZTE LivePRO. Early this year, we’re seeing a new device along these lines – mostly the same functions but without the hotspot capability – and ZTE is calling it the ZTE SPRO, a portable WiFi-connected Android-based wireless projector.

ZTE USA intros new 4G-enabled phone, calls it ZTE Speed

ZTE USA just announced a new smartphone that you can get off-contract from Boost Mobile. Officially called as ZTE Speed, this phone is HD voice-enabled and is very affordable at $99.99. You can still avail of an Unlimited Data Boost Plan from the carrier if you want more mobile surfing goodness, after all, the ZTE Speed boasts of its 4G LTE connectivity. The timing of this phone is just perfect for those who aren't done with their Christmas shopping yet.

ZTE Zinger now available on T-Mobile Prepaid

Ah, Christmas gadget shopping season; the time when people look for a replacement for their older smartphone or a secondary unit (because why not) or an affordable device to give in to your young child's request for their own. If your reasons for Internet window shopping are the latter two, T-Mobile is offering ZTE Zinger, a budget smartphone, for Prepaid subscribers.

Cricket Wireless may not be that popular but this AT&T subsidiary is rolling out a new smartphone in the form of the ZTE Grand X Max. This phablet boasts of a 6-inch hi-definition screen so you can do and see more on the huge display.

ZTE Blade Vec 3G and Vec 4G smartphones rock 5-inch 720p screens

This has been a big week for new smartphones, tablets, and other products to debut with IFA 2014 underway in Germany. Among the products that have debuted are a pair of new smartphones from ZTE including the Blade Vec 3G and the Blade Vec 4G. I'm sure you can guess from the names what the major difference between the two devices is.
