ZTE Nubia Z7 announcement tipped for March

Some new rumors have surfaced regarding the ZTE Nubia Z7. This particular handset has been discussed in rumor form for quite some time now, however it is starting to look like an announcement may actually be getting closer. Given the time of year we would normally begin thinking of a late-February, or Mobile World Congress announcement, however in this case it seems we may get the official nod a bit after everyone leaves Barcelona.

Boost MAX hands-on and first impressions

ZTE announced the Iconic Phablet during CES, and more recently, the handset has been announced for Boost Mobile. The name has been changed to the Boost MAX, however the specs are the same as we saw back in early-January. Basically, we are looking at a device with a 5.7-inch HD IPS display and powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Anyway, ZTE has been kind enough to send over a review unit, and what follows is our initial hands-on and first impressions.

Boost Mobile launches the 5.7-inch MAX phablet

Boost Mobile has announced the immediate availability of the MAX phablet from ZTE. The handset is simply dubbed the Boost MAX and will bring a 5.7-inch HD IPS display. Boost Mobile is playing up the size of the display here, tempting folks with a bit about how the large screen size of the MAX "brings the best of a smartphone and tablet together."

ZTE BlueWatch hands-on

ZTE did a bit of pre-CES teasing so we knew some of what they were planning to unveil. They had a new smartphone, and phablet as well as their entry into the wearable space. The ZTE wearable is a smartwatch and it is called the BlueWatch. We made sure to head over to the ZTE booth to spend a few minutes playing and were greeted with somewhat of a clunky and Pebble-like design.
