ZTE Axon now available thru Amazon, Newegg, eBay, as promised

It looks like ZTE made good on their word that their cost-friendly flagship smartphone beater – the ZTE Axon – would be available in the US market by August 1, as the phone is now indeed available not just via ZTE’s online store, but also via Amazon, Newegg and eBay. The ZTE Axon is interesting because it puts together a pretty robust and leading edge list of specs, while keeping the price below USD$500.

ZTE rolls out three V3 phone models with different connectivity options

Chinese phone maker ZTE has just released three new budget-friendly smartphones that are expected to be quick bestsellers, at least, in China and some parts of Asia. The ZTE V3 trio includes the following models: ZTE V3 Extreme Edition, V3 Energy Edition, and V3 Youth Edition. All models boast of an aluminum body, fingerprint scanner, and super affordable price tags.

China-based manufacturers ZTE recently announced that they were bringing a premium phone with flagship level specs to the US market – that is in the shape of the new ZTE Axon smartphone. ZTE has been bringing its phones over to the US to middling success, but it’s not about to give up on that American dream, the Axon is proof of that. And what’s this? We find the ZTE Axon now certified by China’s TENAA, which can mean only one thing – it’s pretty close to shipping out to market.
