ZTE Nubia Z7 family gets into the flagship naming game

ZTE probably won't float to the top of your list if you try to think of serious contenders in the Chinese smartphone industry, at least from the vantage point of the US where ZTE's products fall more on the budget side. In China, however, ZTE is trying to reclaim lost time and presence by unveiling all the same time the three members of its latest flagship series, the Nubia Z7, the misnamed Nubia Z7 Max, and an even more dubious the Nubia Z7 mini.

ZTE reveals the Grand S Pro; high performance, low cost

ZTE is announcing a new device today, the Grand S Pro. Set for release on US Cellular, the Grand S Pro delivers top-end performance at a rock-bottom price. For $99 with a two year contract, US Cellular customers can get LTE service and quad-core Snapdragon performance.

ZTE Concord II announced for T-Mobile and MetroPCS

ZTE has announced another handset today, the Concord II. This one will be available with T-Mobile and MetroPCS and touts itself as offering "even more value with a customizable Android experience." T-Mobile will have the handset available online beginning today, and MetroPCS will have it available in stores and online beginning on May 19th.

ZTE Grand S II may arrive with 4GB of RAM

The ZTE Grand S II was originally unveiled back in January during CES. ZTE offered a good look at the handset at the time, and even detailed the specs. Skipping to the present day though and it looks like there may have been a change in terms of the RAM. The Grand S II was originally listed as having 2GB of RAM, and a Tenaa filing suggests that may actually be doubled.

ZTE Nubia X6 announcement event set for March 25

ZTE has been offering teasers for the Nubia X6 smartphone, and while they have yet to offer an official announcement, they have recently shared details on when that will be happening. The announcement date is set for March 25th. That date may sound familiar to some, as that is the same day HTC will be announcing "The All New" One.
