Some things are too good to be true, which may be the case with the ZTE Grand S II. Though it didn't come with the rumored 4 GB of RAM, the actual device that landed in Beijing isn't disappointing at all.
The ZTE Grand S II was originally unveiled back in January during CES. ZTE offered a good look at the handset at the time, and even detailed the specs. Skipping to the present day though and it looks like there may have been a change in terms of the RAM. The Grand S II was originally listed as having 2GB of RAM, and a Tenaa filing suggests that may actually be doubled.
ZTE has offered a bit of a teaser in terms of what could be expected during CES. At the time they had said they were planning to bring a wide array of devices and while that included everything from a smartwatch to phablet, the list also included the next model of the Grand S, the ZTE Grand S II, which was just announced with lots of voice control.
