Jkontherun says to expect the N1 in April with "something that the versions on other U.S. carriers lack." Flash 10.1, a better touch screen and the trackball will be swapped out for the Desire's trackpad? There is also a video of the google.com/phone page that shows this being available for a short time.

Android just got access to a whole new library of pre-written Java-Based applications. Myriad launched a tool called J2Android earlier last week. This tool can be used to convert thousands of MIDlet applications and games already on the market and allows Dalvik to run them.

The developers at Swiss CodeMonkeys bring to us a new app called ‘Obama for Android’. Although he did admit that he likes Blackberries, I’m sure he has an Android device stashed somewhere on his person. Now you can follow all the news from our President. Raging Thunder 2 may have been knocked off as the best 3D racing game for Android with the introduction of Asphalt 5 by Gameloft. The graphics of this game are some of the best that I have seen on Android. A few disadvantages of this game are, there is no multi player option and it costs over a dollar more than Raging Thunder 2 and it works best on second generation hardware. Some people say that this game doesn’t play well on the Nexus but it plays just fine on mines.

Up until Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G, this was the most talked about phone around the web. Since then, there has been little to no coverage on this device. Samsung is now making a conscious effort to try and bring this phone back into the spotlight. It is a pretty impressive device by the way.
