First it was Doom and now its quake’s turn. Quake 3 has been ported to the Nexus One. This game has actually been around for awhile, we’ve seen it on the Droid, and it has now made its way to the Nexus.
It’s safe to say that we can file this under the totally cool category of robots. This little invention uses a Droid to solve a Rubik’s Cube. We’ve all tried to solve this thing and one point or another in our life and those of us that didn’t move the colored stickers around probably failed. This robot accomplishes the feat in a matter of seconds.
Here’s another great Massively Multiplayer Online Game from the folks at Storm8. This game is a war game set in the year 2012, it is really feature rich and has a decent storyline. You start out this game as a soldier and work your way up in ranks and reputation by attacking other World War players. You can purchase various different things to boaster your military strength. In this game you play against other android users from all across the world and even invite your friends to join in on the action. This is a really great game and it is free in the Android market.
This is an awesome hack, it’s actually not much hacking involved but we’ll still call it that because it sounds cooler. You can now use your Wii remote to play games on your Android device. There is no need to use onscreen buttons now.
This may be one of the coolest inventions I’ve ever seen. A coder by the name of Steffest has managed to get these three OS’s to work together on a music app. The guitar looks cool also, it consists of a few of these phones strapped to it somehow and the music is made by pressing the various touch screens on the guitar.
About a month ago we got our first glimpse of Android running on an iPhone 2G. Although that was a big accomplishment, the 2G is dated even when compared to the first generation Android devices. Now Android has been ported to the 3G.

Today, T-Mobile official announced the newest addition to the myTouch family, the myTouch 3G Slide. We’ve heard many rumors in past few months about this device but now it official. This device is slated for release in June, that’s right folk, next month you can go pick one up. This is an Android 2.1 device with a custom version of HTC’s Sense UI called Espresso. It also packs in a few other surprises as well.
Ok, we’ve seen a ton of pictures of Garmin’s first entry into to the Android game. Now there’s a video of this handset in action. The guys over at Tmonews managed to get their hands on this video. Another custom UI comes with the introduction of this phone. It’s designed to fulfill all your GPS needs, we finally get a chance to see how it works.
LG has teamed up with the makers of Iron Man 2. A commercial has leaked that displays the LG Ally in all its glory (kind of). If you’re waiting for a physical keyboard and Android you may have a few choices soon. This phone is also rumored to be landing on Verizon’s network.
