Xoom 4G

Motorola Xoom finally will see 4G LTE upgrades starting tomorrow

Well folks, in case you'd lost hope or given up on old Motorola they've finally came through today -- just a bit late. Along with Verizon, Motorola will finally start offering the 4G LTE upgrades for the original Motorola Xoom starting tomorrow. The 3 month window has obviously long since passed, but better late than never right? Now we can start calling it the Xoom 4G -- More details after the break.

Motorola Xoom Upgraded to 4G LTE in the wild

More Motorola Xoom 4G LTE news is coming out today. I guess I'll start calling it 4G since the update is coming soon although we can't call it the first 4G LTE tablet since the Galaxy Tab 10.1 stole that title. What we are seeing now is a Motorola Xoom with full 4G service in the notification tray below. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 looks a bit different and although this could just be fake, the possibility that it is real should excite a few Xoom owners.

Motorola Xoom 4G LTE upgrade finally starting for test group?

All you Motorola Xoom 3G owners may have some exciting news hitting your inbox in the next few days. I wont call it 4G because it still isn't a 4G device, not to mention that the saying "first 4G LTE tablet" is no longer something Motorola can claim since the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE took that crown. New reports are suggesting the Verizon and Motorola 4G LTE hardware upgrade is now ready to start for the Xoom.

Motorola Tablet Hits the FCC, Might be the Xoom LTE or Xoom 2

This is a bit of interesting news that will surely make a few readers happy, and also probably a few upset for those still waiting on the original Xoom to get upgraded to 4G LTE. What looks to be a Motorola Tablet with 4G LTE radios has been seen clearing the FCC. Being seen only by the FCC ID IHDP56LU2. Interesting bit of news that is for sure, I sure hope Verizon and Motorola update us Xoom owners before launching something else or they might have an angry mob headed their way.

Verizon first pulls video, Now saying its the Xoom 4G

Yesterday out of the blue we saw what appeared to be a leaked or released a bit too early promo video for Verizon Wireless that included an unannounced Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet in the clip. It was quickly picked up by multiple sites and blogs and just as quickly as we all saw it Verizon pulled the clip from YouTube. Once on the net it never is really gone and many people got a few screenshots of this device.
