Six more markets receive Verizon XLTE goodness

The XLTE market is rapidly expanding in the United States. Well, at least according to Verizon as the company recently announced that they have improved the network so 4G LTE mobile connection will be faster than ever. Verizon Wireless has proudly announced that the AWS spectrum and the standard 700MHz 4G LTE spectrum will now be available for XLTE-capable devices.

Verizon’s HTC One Remix is a rebranded One mini 2

"A rose by any other name", or so the oft-quoted phrase goes. Verizon has just announced the arrival of a certain HTC One Remix, bearing key features of the One M8 in a tinier package. For all intents and purposes, however, this is the very same One mini 2 that will be launched in Europe and Asia-Pacific, simply slapped on with Verizon branding. But that's not exactly a bad thing.

Verizon XLTE now live, works with many Android handsets

XLTE, Verizon’s “new” data offering, is now live. Those in several states covering roughly half of Verizon’s current LTE footprint can already take advantage, and the new service covers a lot of exisiting handsets as well. Customers who have an appropriate handset in an XLTE market should notice faster data transfers and better overall performance.
