Xiaomi has been on a bit of a tear lately, introducing themselves to the world stage via various product teasers. Their latest has us guessing once again, with the company posting a very intriguing picture to Chinese blogging site Weibo. In the pic, we see something oddly familiar, but nothing that we can identify as Xiaomi’s.

Barra referred to this as a clever little gadget, and included some potential name ideas of Mi Button and Mi Key. More to the point here, this clever little gadget turns your headphone jack into a clickable button.

Xiaomi Redmi Note announced, shattering the mid-range mold

Xiaomi has introduced their new Redmi Note today, an upsized version of their Redmi smartphone. With the new, larger Redmi, Xiaomi is rounding out their lineup to include several iterations of essentially the same device. Though currently limited to Asia, the Redmi is widely believed to be coming to more areas in the future.

MIUI ROM for Nexus 7 2013 strengthens tablet rumors

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has just released on official Android ROM for the Nexus 7 2013 running its MIUI custom interface. While that might actually be somewhat of a non-event, considering how many unofficial MIUI ROMs there are floating around, this official ROM might be a solid indicator that Xiaomi is indeed preparing its first Android tablet.
