So everyone has started to get their new and awesome HTC Thunderbolts over the last week or so. I'm sure you all love it. For those like me that always want to tinker, or change how things look we have a little treat for you. A XDA member by the name of sopL87 has made a huge collection of unique and nice looking skins for your Sense 2.0 device. They work on the Thunderbolt as well as the Desire HD and basically any Sense 2.0 device. Here are a few of my favorite.

ViewSonic G-Tablet Dual Core Android Tab is $279 at woot.com today only

Look what I just found, how exciting. This is the Vewisonic G-Tablet. it is an Android 2.2 tablet with a 10.1" LCD Display, front facing camera, and the highly popular Dual Core Tegra 2 Processor inside. It is extremely fast and runs very well. It has some custom user interface over android that is pretty crappy, but over at XDA there is tons and tons of development for this. It was the first Tegra 2 tablet released. This is a screaming deal for someone in need of a cheap tablet that isn't a china knockoff. For sale now at woot.com

HTC ThunderBolt Perm Rooted

So we had a little look over at the XDA Forums at the root of the ThunderBolt before it was released, and yes, that is always impressive. But it wasn't permanent! What we love to see is that permanence, the real test of weather the phone is really rooted or just wearing a Halloween mask. Well let me tell you what's happened essentially overnight - perm root. Indeedy yes, it was user jcase who let the world know that with the first step being a showing on the 16th, the 17th at nearly midnight the real test was accomplished.

Share Contacts by SMS on your Android Phone [Business Card]

Most of you can probably agree that you have had to do this at one time or another on your Android phone. Get someone a phone number, send your friend or a co-worker someones number and wished there was an easy and simple way for this to happen. Well now you can with Share Contacts by SMS. Instead of trying to copy/paste it, or write the number down or try to remember it in your head. Now you'll never need to do that again.

ADW Launcher on CM7 Development Playground to test new features

Like we have mentioned a time or two here, the developers over at XDA are always making changes and improving things for our beloved Android phones. Today we have an exciting and simple add-on that makes the ADW Launcher (stock in CM7) even better. It is a development playground that is testing new features to see if they are popular enough to integrate into CM7.

HeLauncher for Android, all home replacement launchers in One

Home replacements for Android have been around since the beginning. The launcher is what launches the main desktop for your device. It's where you rearrange your icons, put your widgets, and everything. There is stock launchers, Home +, with bigger names like Launcher Pro, and ADW EX being some of the more popular ones. These are all great but sometimes switching between them can get cumbersome and irritating. Always having to replace all the icon's and widgets gets old also. We present you with HeLauncher.

Samsung Epic 4G gets Cyanogen Mod

XDA Developers have turned their sites on the Samsung Epic 4G and have released CynogenMod 7 for the Sprint 4G phone. The Gingerbread Mod is still in Alpha release and XDA developers Dameon87, nullghost, and DevinXtreme warn that the Mod is not fully functional. Users who choose to flash the ROM to their Epic 4G are advised that they will likely be able to make calls, send SMS text messages and data via bluetooth and WiFi, but that there are a few other things that aren't working just yet. Users will not be able to use GPS or the Epic's 5MP camera just yet. And hardware acceleration in the UI and in Video is still being worked on so it's out of the mix as well. But hey, it's small price to pay to get rid of TouchWiz, isn't it?
