First Overclock Kernel in the Works for Galaxy Tab 10.1
If you hadn't noticed, most of the hardware in Honeycomb tablets looks a little similar. Since they're all running on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 chipset, and we've already seen the Transformer and Xoom overclocked. We knew it was only a matter of time, and now XDA member, pershoot, has a preview of a kernel which allows overclocking of the Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1

ClockWorkMod Recovery and Root Ready for Unlocked Retail Galaxy Tab 10.1
We reported at the end of last week that there were rumors of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1's being sold with unlocked bootloaders. Now it appears those rumors are true, as a dev over at XDA has found a way to flash ClockWorkMod Recovery onto the tablets that have unlocked bootloaders.

Certain Galaxy Tab 10.1 might be getting sold with Unlocked Bootloader?
If you haven't rushed to the nearest Best Buy or Fry's Electronics to get yourself a shiny new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 we might have some news that will make you want one. Just like we told you yesterday the Tab is officially for sale starting today. Now some reports are streaming in that some lucky users that went home and turned their Tab on were greeted with a familiar splash screen we have seen before. It shows as being "unlocked"

Warning: Leaked HTC Thunderbolt Gingerbread radio may brick your phone
We have seen a few reports about this over the last few days and now it is becoming more official. Apparently the recently leaked Gingerbread 2.3 build for the HTC Thunderbolt has been causing some major issues and hard bricks for certain people. From what we are hearing the radio update in the leaked build has caused a overly large number of Thunderbolt users phones to go into an endless bootloop and currently rom builders like AndIRC have been unable to save these T-Bolts, or figure out what is causing the bricks. Has your Thunderbolt on Gingerbread bricked?

NOOKColor humming on Gingerbread thanks to CyanogenMod7

NOOKColor humming on Gingerbread thanks to CyanogenMod7
The flexibility of the Barnes and Noble NOOKColor shows itself again as the Android eReader has been rooted to become a full-on Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) tablet. The mod, based on CyanogenMod7, has completely wiped out the BN ebook reader overlay and has also overclocked the NOOKColor's 800 Mhz processor in order to get it run smoothly. The only real issue appears to be a hardware limitation, since Gingerbread requires multiple hardware buttons and the NOOKColor only has a single button plus volume controls. But other than that, the NOOKColor is humming along rather nicely at 1.1 Ghz speed.

Copy Angry Birds progress to multiple devices without root & for free
What I have for you today is a little treat for all you Angry Birds fanatics out there. I know there is plenty of you. Even if you don't admit it we know you play it while your bored at work, daily. I've looked into this myself and didn't know it was possible, but we now have a way to backup your game saves and progress on all 3 versions of Angry Birds. Regular version, seasons, and Rio. So now keep your progress on your G1, Thunderbolt, and on your Motorola Xoom (or whatever devices you own) so you never have to replay all the levels unless you want to of course.

XDA forum sets sights on HTC Sense to Samsung Galaxy Tab
It's almost a digital Island of Doctor Moreau. You know, the book about the mad scientist who crosses humans with animals? Well, users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab are exploring porting the HTC Flyer ROM. The idea comes from the fact that both the Flyer and the Galaxy Tab have the same screen resolution (600 by 1024).

LG G2x Root and ClockworkMod already, and the easy way
It looks like things are already moving along just fine, just as we expected they would on the LG G2x. It doesn't have locked bootloaders, or any of those other issues all the Motorola and HTC phones have as of late. After day one we are already rooted, and running clockworkmod both on the G2x, next up is CyanogenMod.

HTC Pyramid ROM ported to HTC Desire HD
The gang at XDA has done it again, this time, "CapyChimp" has managed to port the HTC Pyramid Rom to the HTC Desire HD ... and it only took 24 hours. Now granted, with such a slap dash effort to get it ported and out, there's some more work to be done. A LOT of work, in order to iron out the bugs. But it does give users a chance to poke around the neighborhood some. Let's take a look ...
