Refurbished XOOM units from Woot contain old user data
Woot had a Motorola XOOM sale at the tail end of 2011, and as it turns out now, there were a batch of these units that still contained their original users data upon them. For those that give up their units to the refurbishing points across the USA often do not know that they have to reset their devices before they hand them over, believe it or not. For a period between March and October of 2011, refurb groups across the USA did not check the devices correctly.

Toshiba Thrive 16GB hits bargain bin, $280 today only
The Toshiba Thrive 10" Android Honeycomb tablet has been making the rounds over the past few weeks and hitting all of those deals sites but today we have an even better offering. The almost famous woot.com has the 10" 16GB tablet on sale for an excellent price of just $279 and $5 shipping.

Vizio 8″ VTAB Gingerbread tablet just $159 today only
In the usual Woot.com fashion today we have another excellent deal for an Android tablet to share with our readers. We don't have Honeycomb on board but this tablet still has plenty going for it. Today Woot is offering the Vizio 8" VTAB Gingerbread tablet for a mere $159 complete with a folio case and just $5.00 shipping. That is over $170 less than retail although the unit does come refurbished.

In case you've never been to woot.com I highly suggest you check it out. They were recently snatched up by the big box online retailer Amazon and today they are both working to bring this awesome deal to the table. The Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom 32GB can be yours for just $339 from Amazon, but they are refurbished units.

ViewSonic G-Tablet 10″ Dual-Core Android Tab only $239 Today [Deal]
This isn't the first time we've seen the G-Tablet in the bargain bin, and most likely it wont be the last. For the price you actually get a pretty great device that has plenty of power to help keep things moving smooth. This is the ViewSonic G-Tablet and it was actually the first NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core tablet to hit the market here in the U.S. even though sadly it only runs Android 2.2 FroYo. Today it can be yours for just $239 at Woot.com

$400 Motorola XOOM tablet is today’s Woot deal

$400 Motorola XOOM tablet is today’s Woot deal
As the first Honeycomb tablet to hit store shelves, the Motorola XOOM perhaps lacks some of the glamor of its more recent Android slate siblings; however, it's still a solid option as long as the price is right. Woot's deal for today is a $399.99 XOOM WiFi, a saving of $100 versus other retailers. Now, it's a refurbished unit, not brand new, but we imagine there are plenty of people who will look past that for the sake of $100 left in their pocket. It's also not the Verizon 3G model, so there's no WWAN connectivity and no 4G LTE upgrade on the horizon; still, you also don't commit yourself to a data plan. In fact the biggest issue might be low-cost rivals. Amazon is currently asking the same price for a brand new Acer Iconia Tab A500, which we reviewed back in April, with similar performance but a metal casing.

No Woot-off going on today but the ever so popular woot.com does have a little android treat for sale today. For those that don't know Woot they have one sale a day, and that is it (excluding woot-offs). So if you want to get in on the action you better act fast. Entourage Pocket eDGe hits Woot for $150

Entourage Pocket eDGe hits Woot for $150
Entourage didn't exactly set the education market alight with their dual-display E Ink and LCDPocket eDGe clamshell tablet, but sales mediocrity does have an interesting affect on pricing. Woot is currently offering the eDGe for $149.99, a far cry from the $399 it launched at late last year. Your money gets you a 1.2GHz Marvell processor, 7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 6-inch E Ink epaper display, 3GB of internal storage, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth. OS is Android 1.6, though there are apparently Froyo builds floating around if you're feeling brave. As with all Woot deals, there's limited stock and after today it's gone, so if you're interested it's probably best to buy sooner rather than later. Anybody keen? [gallery]

Viewsonic G-Tablet hits Amazon for $279, gets 1.6 Ghz Overclock
I'm going to keep this short and sweet, as this was recently for sale at the same low price of $279 on woot.com . It is a great tablet for the price but it looks like woot didn't sell them all, because now Amazon has it as the deal of the day for the same price. (Shipped & Sold by Woot).

ViewSonic G-Tablet Dual Core Android Tab is $279 at woot.com today only
Look what I just found, how exciting. This is the Vewisonic G-Tablet. it is an Android 2.2 tablet with a 10.1" LCD Display, front facing camera, and the highly popular Dual Core Tegra 2 Processor inside. It is extremely fast and runs very well. It has some custom user interface over android that is pretty crappy, but over at XDA there is tons and tons of development for this. It was the first Tegra 2 tablet released. This is a screaming deal for someone in need of a cheap tablet that isn't a china knockoff. For sale now at woot.com
