Skyfire is perhaps the best browser available for Windows Mobile devices. It’s my default browser on the HD2. This browser is fast, stable and has Flash support. Soon we will be able to enjoy this awesome browser on our Android handsets.
DoubleTwist has been the most popular way to sync all your media to your Android device for a while now. It even comes preloaded on a few devices these days. The latest update to the Mac version now allows you to browse apps, find the qr code, displays screenshots of the app and the recent reviews. The update for the PC client is on the way.
Gamevil has announced Zenonia for the Android platform. Since its release for the iPhone, it has been one of the most popular games in the AppStore. This game is also available on Windows Mobile and has sold millions of copies worldwide.
The Mobinova Beam is an 8.9 inch smartbook that uses NVIDIA’s Tegra platform to deliver HD graphics while using little power to do so. It’s rumored to have the ability to play over 16 hours of video. Windows CE was the featured OS choice in the past but Mobinova chose to go with Android instead because of it's large selection of apps.
The XDAndroid project, for Windows Mobile devices with (W)VGA displays, has progressed to a fully usable port of Android to a Touch Pro 2. Past ports haven't been as successful as this one, there were too many bugs and the build was not user friendly. That's now a thing of the past and maybe now all WinMo phones with a WVGA display will be able to load Android and use it like it was the native OS on the device.
DoubleTwist is a popular way to sync your music, videos and pictures to your Android device. It is now being included in some Android handset, the myTouch 3G Fender Edition by T-Mobile being the first. There is now an update to the software that has a few nice upgrades, podcast being one.
The Archos 7 look to a lock for this years CeBIT, but it might not show up alone. There has been an announcement of a second Android tablet by Archos. Both described as “good value Android Tablets that are specially designed for use in the home”.
Didn't have the time or invitation to attend this years MWC? Luckily there are a few videos of the event making their way around the net. This one is HTC's press event where they announced thier phones and demoed the upcoming Sense UI 2.1 edition.
Earlier today I discussed the possibility of this phone being on multiple carriers around the world. T-Mobile UK is slated for a March 26th release. Not to be out done Orange has announced their plans for the Desire that includes a free offering for certain plans.

Looks like PDAnet has some competition now. For the longest they have been the most popular way to tether your Android device without the need for root. Now enters EasyTether. This app works for MOST Android phones, but has been discovered to not be ramped up for 4G phones thus far. We're crossing our fingers really, really hard for this app to work with faster speeds in the future. For now though, 3G.
