Notifications should be plain and simple but there’s no stopping developers from improving on them. Why should notifications be boring when you can have fun with them? This NotifWidget is a new app that let’s you interact with notifications right on the lock screen, DayDream screen saver, or home screen. This is pretty much like the Notify! app we featured a few months ago.

The folks at CyanogenMod are prepping for some upcoming changes to the power widgets. These have been used for quite some time now and were originally introduced back on the CM7 days. And for those who haven't been around CyanogenMod for that long -- CM7 looks back towards Android 2.3. That aside, the power widgets will be going away in favor of something called the Quick Access Ribbon.

Beautiful Widgets app update brings free and paid versions

Beautiful Widgets hasn't been what we would consider super expensive in the past, however those who may have been interested in the app but were turned off by the price -- your day has come. LevelUp Studio now has two versions of Beautiful Widgets available in the Google Play Store. The new app is simply called Beautiful Widgets and the previously existing version has been renamed and is now called Beautiful Widgets Pro.
