Galaxy Nexus My Verizon update adds new UI and reminds us of Data Widget
Today Verizon has just issued an update for their popular My Verizon App. The version here for my Galaxy Nexus was just updated this morning and claims to have some impressive new UI features (that I'm not seeing) but does manage to bring a new widget reminder along with it. If you've ever used My Verizon you'd know it's the easiest way to check data and minute usage, as well as pay your monthly bill.

We all love widgets and today I've got an awesome app that just landed in the Google Play Store yesterday called Thousand Clocks Gallery. What this gives you access to is literally over a thousand different clock, calendar, weather, and even battery widgets for Android. If Beautiful Widgets is getting old, or you'd like to try something new and fresh this would be a good start.

Beautiful Widgets passes 1 million paid downloads, celebrates with Google
Hopefully everyone is well aware of Google's latest news that the Android Market has surpassed 10 billion downloads. Today LevelUp Studios is celebrating something similar as the first paid app to pass 1 million downloads from the Android Market. I know things like Angry Birds comes to mind but it didn't launch originally on the Android Market and most of its downloads were on GetJar. The extremely popular weather and clock widget Beautiful Widgets is the first to 1 million downloads on Android and gets to claim the crown.

The folks from cloud.tv that brought us HD Widgets for Honeycomb are back with an awesome update to their widgets pack. Their simply beautiful and stunning widget collection is the best you can get for Honeycomb and they've just updated to HD Widgets v2.1 and have added support for 7" tablets and all Android smartphones. Originally just for 10" tablets but now it is available for all.

Beautiful Widgets by LevelUp Studios has been one of, if not the most downloaded app for Android other than some games. Everyone that doesn't have HTC Sense seems to use Beautiful Widgets. They have now updated the widget pack to support Android tablets and the new look and interface for my Xoom sure looks like. I have some pics for you all to enjoy. It just recently finished it's BETA.
