Android Community Weekly: August 26th, 2012

It's the end of the week and time for another Android Community Weekly. We had an exciting week in the crazy world of Android -- and lawsuits -- so lets get right to it. A lot happened with legal departments for Samsung, Apple, and a few Android app pirate sites. The Google Play Store had a big week too so lets take a peek below.

With the first week of August officially under our belt, summer is almost over. Android Community Weekly: July 29th, 2012

With the last week of July quickly approaching, we had a rather exciting week of Android news again this past week. Android Community Weekly: July 22nd, 2012

This past week was a pretty good one if you're a Nexus S owner, but not so good if you've been trying to get your hands on the Google Nexus 7. Google began sending out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates to Nexus S phones on select carriers Friday night, but unfortunately earlier in the week the company announced that it was having some trouble keeping 16GB Nexus 7 tablets in stock. As a result, the 16GB Nexus 7s now have an estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks when shipping from the Google Play Store, so unless you're okay with picking up an 8GB model instead, you might be left waiting for a Nexus 7.

Android Community Weekly: July 15th, 2012

Here at Android Community we had another exciting and fun-filled week of Android news. The biggest part however was probably the end of the week where Google delivered a treat to many customers. The flagship Nexus 7 tablet started shipping out to all those patient (and some impatient) customers on Friday, but that's only some of the news. Head below for your weekly brief.

T-Mobile and AT&T both unleashed the flagship smartphone into the wild, although only in limited supply, and the masses can now enjoy Samsung's latest creation. Next week however will be all about Google I/O. By the end of next week we'll hopefully be talking about Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and beyond.

Android Community Weekly: June 17th, 2012
