Garmin unveils Vivoactive, Vivofit 2, and Epix navigation device

Garmin International is launching new fitness products and a hands-free navigation device at the CES in Las Vegas: the Vivoactive smartwatch, Vivofit 2, Style Collection, and the Epix. The first three models are ideal for those health buffs and fitness enthusiasts and the last one is a first-of-its-kind hands-free navigation device. As a leader in GPS technology, Garmin continues to bring in new products with great features and functionality.

Sony SmartEyeglass Attach: hands-on with an adaptable eyepiece

Google Glass and a whole bunch of other attempts at smart glasses, despite differences in implementation and concept, have one thing in common. They all require you to accept the vision of their designers, instead of being able to show off your own personal flair. Not so with Sony's second iteration of its SmartEyeglass device, called the SmartEyeglass Attach!. As the name implies, it was designed to attach to any kind of eyewear, glasses, goggles, or whatnot, instead of arriving welded unto someone else glasses.

We've seen a lot of new gadgets and gizmos at the start of CES 2015 yesterday and tonight, it's Sony's turn on the stage. While not giving any clues about the next Xperia devices, the manufacturer is focusing on its SmartWear line. Nothing exactly new aside from what it calls a prototype device, but fans of Sony's smartwatches will most likely be delighted to know that the latest model now comes with a stainless steel edition. Sony has also improved its Lifelog platform to include more apps and services for your life and activity monitoring needs.

Smart watches have created itself a new category within the technology industry. With so many different options out there, who knows what’s best and most comfortable. It all boils down to opinion and preference. Lenovo has rolled out a new contender that might be able to beat out the competition. The VIBE Band VB10 is more than a fitness tracker, it interacts with your smartphone alongside social notifications. A clean metal body front cover with smooth rubber straps (~30 grams) and new features that notify you’ve steered too far from your phone make it stand out.

Activite Pop is an affordable health watch to track activities

If you don't feel the need to own one of the new (or older) smartwatches currently available in the market but would like to track your health-related activities, your best bet would be a health watch. One of the more trustworthy brands out there is Withings' Activite. But if the $450 price tag is a bit steep for you, they've recently announced a more affordable line of health watches called Activite Pop.
