Starwood Hotels welcome Google Glass with SPG Glassware

Starwood Hotels announced a pilot program that allows guests to swap physical keys for virtual keys. That program was essentially allowing guests to use their smartphones to check-in, check-out and also open the door to the room. Flash forward till present day and it looks like Starwood Hotels has gone another step forward with support for new technology. They have announced the SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest) app for Google Glass.

Google Glass has a good set of features straight out of the box. You can perform Google searches, take pictures, record video, get directions, send messages, make calls, listen to music and more. Google also offers Glassware apps which extend the out-of-the-box functionality. But even with that -- there may be some items missing for some users.

Pandora for Pebble coming soon to Android

A Pandora app has arrived in the Pebble appstore today, but there is a bit of a catch for Android users. The app has arrived with support for the latest iOS (v5.3) release and for now Android support is simply listed as coming soon. We'll be on the lookout for the Android release, but in the meantime we are getting a look at what can be expected.
