ViewSonic Viewpad 7e tab officially announced, coming this month

The low priced Viewpad 7e Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet was just made official today by Viewsonic. We've seen this tablet plenty over the past few weeks as well as enjoyed some hands-on time with it back at IFA this year. Today Viewsonic has announced that it will officially hit the shelves this month so you should be able to snag one up any day now for just $199, more details below.

ViewSonic ViewPad 10e has a 10-inch IPS screen to show off Gingerbread

In its latest entry into the tablet market, ViewSonic seems to be doing everything right. The ViewPad 10e (an update to the previous model) has a 9.7-inch, 1024 x 768 IPS display that should please just about everybody, a 1GHz processor, ample expansion jacks including HDMI, MicroSD and a standard MicroUSB port. It's got a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, and if ViewSonic's previous Android tablets are anything to go by, the Wi-Fi slate should be priced to move as well.

ViewSonic V430 Android smartphone appears in Russia

ViewSonic is back today with another Android handset spotted in Russia. You might not remember many Android phones from ViewSonic but they had the V350 and then the scary ViewPad 4. Today we have the V430 Android 2.2 FroYo smartphone -- Yes sadly we said Froyo but we have hopes it might get a boost to some Gingerbread.

IFA 2011 Wrap-Up

As you may already know, we were live and in action this year in Berlin at IFA 2011, and without a doubt it was a year for tablets on the Android front. Samsung, Toshiba, and ViewSonic brought the heat while Lenovo brings on the candy-coated goodness. Then there's what many have considered the superstar of the whole show: the Samsung Galaxy Note; not a smartphone yet not quite a tablet - kind of like the Britney Spears of Android mobile devices, if you will. Take a dunk with us as we get hands-on looks at everything under the sun.

Today it can be yours for just $239 at Woot.com

Sprinkle Optimized for Tegra Puzzle Game Review [Pre-Release Version]

This is a game that's all about water. This means there's gonna HAVE to be a lot of awesome physics action involved if it's going to hold any salt against or right alongside the utterly sweet Tegra 2 optimized game Riptide GP, a game which we've addressed more than just once. Everyone knows that Riptide has taken water physics to a new level. Sprinkle takes those physics and throws em all around and makes em work even BETTER than before. Not only will you be tossing water around like a pro, there's a PUZZLE GAME in this too.
