IFA 2011 Wrap-Up
As you may already know, we were live and in action this year in Berlin at IFA 2011, and without a doubt it was a year for tablets on the Android front. Samsung, Toshiba, and ViewSonic brought the heat while Lenovo brings on the candy-coated goodness. Then there's what many have considered the superstar of the whole show: the Samsung Galaxy Note; not a smartphone yet not quite a tablet - kind of like the Britney Spears of Android mobile devices, if you will. Take a dunk with us as we get hands-on looks at everything under the sun.

ViewSonic G-Tablet 10″ Dual-Core Android Tab only $239 Today [Deal]
This isn't the first time we've seen the G-Tablet in the bargain bin, and most likely it wont be the last. For the price you actually get a pretty great device that has plenty of power to help keep things moving smooth. This is the ViewSonic G-Tablet and it was actually the first NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core tablet to hit the market here in the U.S. even though sadly it only runs Android 2.2 FroYo. Today it can be yours for just $239 at Woot.com

Sprinkle Optimized for Tegra Puzzle Game Review [Pre-Release Version]
This is a game that's all about water. This means there's gonna HAVE to be a lot of awesome physics action involved if it's going to hold any salt against or right alongside the utterly sweet Tegra 2 optimized game Riptide GP, a game which we've addressed more than just once. Everyone knows that Riptide has taken water physics to a new level. Sprinkle takes those physics and throws em all around and makes em work even BETTER than before. Not only will you be tossing water around like a pro, there's a PUZZLE GAME in this too.

ViewSonic Announces New Dual-boot Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Windows 7 Tablet
Today ViewSonic has just announced the new ViewPad 10 Pro. We recently saw this back in May running Android 2.2 so it's nice to see they've updated to Gingerbread. A dual-boot Win 7 and Honeycomb tablet would be amazing if you ask me, it's a shame we aren't seeing that but I'm sure its next on the list.

ViewSonic VB730 priced at $229
There are a lot of people out there that are on a budget, but still want some cool gadgets like a new Android tablet. The Xoom and some of the other really expensive tablets out there don’t fit the budget for lots of people interested in a new tablet . Some folks are shopping for a simple and cheap tablet with decent performance. Often these are the folks that end up rocking the cool Barnes & Noble Nook eReader powered by Android.
