CES time! As you all know this is where we'll see the latest and greatest consumer electronics of all types, shapes and sizes. We'll be focusing heavily on Android obviously, and we have a lot planned so get ready for some fun.
Galaxy S III smartphone still selling like hot cakes and topping 30 million in sales, we're already setting our sights on the next generation. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been rumored more than a few times and we know it's coming soon. Today however we have an awesome "concept video" or render showing some ultra-thinness and even a projecting laser keyboard.
one particularly unsettling commercial from the likes of Samsung. Today it's the Android team's turn to show off a holiday video of their own, and rest assured, there isn't any uncomfortable innuendo between Santa and Mrs. Claus to be found. Instead, the holiday video the Android team put out is rather touching, and may even make you shed a tear if you aren't careful.
Archos has officially released their Video Player app into Google Play. The app is being touted as the"critically acclaimed ARCHOS Video player" and with the promise of it being able to deliver an "uncompromised multimedia experience." Fancy sounding chatter aside though, the Archos Video Player app is now available for non-Archos branded tablets.
LG and Google don't seem to have any trouble selling the Nexus 4. Of course, that thought is based entirely on how it seems that the Nexus 4 listing in the Play Store seems to be out of stock more than it is in stock. Even at this time, the listing for both the 8GB and 16GB Nexus 4 is sold out with a mention that they are out of inventory.
Galaxy Nexus users. As we all know, the Verizon Gnex is the only Nexus still hanging out in the Android 4.1 era, while Google's updated all the rest to the latest and greatest Jelly Bean. While Verizon updated their Galaxy Nexus back in September, we're all still awaiting Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Today however thanks to CyanogenMod we have it right now, so lets take a peek below.
Galaxy S III commercials, but this time Samsung has taken things a step further by tossing Santa and Mrs. Claus into the mix. The latest Galaxy S III ad features ol' St. Nick as he prepares to leave the North Pole to deliver presents to the children of the world. We imagine that can get quite boring at times, but luckily a couple of Santa's elves have made a video for him to watch on the trip around the world. Mrs. Claus has made a video for him too, and we think we'll just let you fill in the blanks from here on out.
SwiftKey is about to get a whole lot better. We've been hearing tons lately about the upcoming SwiftKey Flow keyboard that will take on Google's own gesture keyboard, and Swype, but their latest video shows us just how awesome Flow will really be. It's called "Flow Through Space" and shows that we'll soon be able to type without ever lifting a finger. Just flowing from word to word all with one seamless motion.
Verizon Wireless now offers both of the best options available on the market. Well, all three if you consider the LG Intuition. Yesterday Samsung's popular Galaxy Note II finally arrived at Verizon stores nationwide and online so today we've decided to compare it to the impressive HTC DROID DNA. Below you'll find a quick hands-on with the Note II, followed by a DROID DNA comparison and a few pictures for fun.
Samsung Galaxy Note II complete with Verizon's ever expanding and extremely fast 4G LTE has landed on store shelves. As of yesterday the Note II is available in-stores and online from Big Red. Today we'll be taking a peek at this 5.5-inch smartphone phablet in the new Titanium Color, our personal favorite, then giving you a few pictures of the home button "decorations."
