Android 4.2.2 rolling out to Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Verizon Wireless is finally rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to its Samsung Galaxy Nexus devices. The update is long overdue, especially since owners of the GSM version of the device received the update last month. Many people purchase Nexus devices because they want to receive the latest Android OS updates as quickly as possible (alongside the great specs and affordable price points).

HTC One for Verizon Wireless may not be happening
Just last week we had been hearing about how the HTC One was going to be coming available with Verizon Wireless. The chatter was suggesting that Verizon was going to launch the One, but that they were going to do it about a month after the other carriers. Well, based on what we are seeing from the HTC USA Twitter account, the One may not be coming to Big Red after all.

HTC One headed to Verizon, just a month or so late
When HTC announced their new flagship smartphone back in February it was revealed to be headed to all major US carriers, but Verizon. Originally we were surprised to see them left out, but it looks like Big Red's luck could be changing. Today we've confirmed from sources close to the situation that the HTC One will indeed launch on Verizon. It just might be a few months later.

HTC One for Verizon spotted in Bluetooth SIG filing
It seems to have been a little while since we last heard any chatter about the HTC One (or a variant of) coming to Verizon Wireless. Those previous reports had the handset dubbed as the DLXPLUS and although we can think of it as the Verizon version of the HTC One, the name of the handset does remain in question. You see, the DLX portion of that name comes in from the Droid DNA.

Verizon exec calling for lower subsides and LTE-only devices
While some Android users may not consider Windows Phone or BlackBerry 10 as being any serious competition, a Verizon exec has cited that as one of the reasons we may begin seeing lower device subsidies moving forward. That exec is Verizon Communications CFO Fran Shammo and he spoke of lower subsidies coming as a result of increased competition and LTE-only devices.

Verizon Wireless Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE arriving on March 7 for $599
Verizon Wireless announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE back in January during CES. At that time the release details and pricing were left a mystery and it was simply said that the tablet would be arriving in the coming weeks. Well, it looks like those coming weeks will be arriving very shortly. Simply put, Verizon has said the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE will be available on March 7.

Samsung SCH-I425 ‘Godiva’ FCC filing discovered
While we have yet to see anything official come from Verizon Wireless or Samsung, it looks like the Stratosphere III has recently made an appearance with the FCC. Of course, we should point out that calling it the Stratosphere III is a bit of speculation. What we do know is that this handset is sporting a model number of SCH-I425 and a codename of Godiva. The FCC filing suggests an announcement is coming soon.

Pantech Perception for Verizon Wireless spotted in FCC filing
Details on the Pantech Perception leaked back in early January. That leak came in render form and left no real doubt as to where the handset was headed considering the Verizon logo was sitting centered on the top of the device. This latest image of the Perception does not have a Verizon logo, however that is still where it is believed to be heading. The FCC filing for the Perception has recently been discovered and this time around we are getting to see the handset from just about every angle.

LG Spectrum update detailed by Verizon Wireless
Verizon updated the LG Spectrum to Ice Cream Sandwich back in October and it looks like details for another software update have recently been posted. And while we would be happy to report this update was brining Jelly Bean, that is not the case. Of course, we are not all that certain any Spectrum users are expecting that anyway. Needless to say, this update still seem worthwhile and one that you will likely want to grab.
