Verizon HTC One Android 4.3 changelog revealed

We recently learned that Verizon and HTC were just about ready to begin rolling the Android 4.3 update to One users. The news the update had been approved came by way of Executive Director of Product Management at HTC who posts as @moversi on Twitter. The tweet mentioned how the update was expected to begin early this week and well, it looks like things are progressing. Verizon has recently posted the full changelog for the update.

DROID Ultra, Mini, Maxx soak test brings talk of Kit Kat

The specifics have yet to be revealed, however it does appear that Verizon and Motorola are getting ready to begin a soak test for the DROID lineup. This time around the update looks to be heading to the DROID Ultra, Mini and Maxx. And perhaps more important, it is believed to be the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update. What we have seen comes by way of an email from the Motorola Feedback Network and that bit about Kit Kat does involve a bit of speculation.

Verizon HTC One Android 4.3 update beginning this week

Last we heard Verizon and HTC had delayed the Android 4.3 rollout for the One by a month. Unfortunately, as that news came back at the end of October, that means those carrying a Verizon branded HTC One have already waited longer than the expected month. So while it would be nice to have seen news of the update beginning today, there is some news that it will be arriving fairly soon.

Verizon HTC One max hands-on

Following a long series of rumors and leaks, HTC announced the One max back in mid-October. Verizon Wireless followed HTC with an announcement of their own and initially said the handset would be arriving in time for the holiday shopping season. True to their word, the HTC One max arrived with Verizon in late-November. Anyway, we have recently been carrying a Verizon branded model and as such, wanted to offer a bit on this carrier variant and how it compares to the model we reviewed back in October.

Verizon DROID ULTRA and DROID MINI arrive in white

Verizon has added a new color for the DROID ULTRA and DROID MINI handsets. As of today, both handsets are available in white. This new white model joins the previously available black and red and is basically, the same handsets, just in a new color. Simply put, the pricing and the specs each remain the same as had been.
