Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear is well underway. The handset has been rolling out to various carriers with Verizon Wireless customers getting access to make a purchase as of late last week. Big Red had pre-orders open, however the general availability kicked off on October 10th. As such, we have recently been carrying a Verizon branded Galaxy Note 3 for testing.

AT&T points towards the first VoLTE smartphone arriving sometime later this year. This little detail was mentioned by a senior AT&T executive and otherwise, the specifics were left to be a mystery. There wasn't anything said about the particular device, aside from that it will bring VoLTE support.

Verizon Wireless has launched their latest prepaid smartphone. The handset is the Samsung Galaxy Legend, though some may recognize it as the Galaxy Stellar. In fact, the Galaxy Stellar launched with Big Red as a free-on-contract device back in September 2012. Needless to say, Verizon has the Galaxy Legend sitting in the prepaid lineup with a price point of $129.99.

Verizon Wireless had a bit of an issue over the weekend. Through a small glitch in their system, users were able to sign up for unlimited data when upgrading their plans. Not limited to new activations, many users took the opportunity to take back what Verizon has been weening them from.
