While there are plenty of cloud solutions available for smartphone users, it seems that many users go without that peace of mind. The reasoning here could be as simple as the person not knowing about the available options, thinking they are hard to use or maybe that they are expensive. Needless to say, we are firmly in the camp of backing up our data and it seems as if Verizon Wireless is also sharing that same opinion. Enter the recently announced Verizon Cloud service.

Verizon Wireless begins accepting GALAXY S 4 pre-orders
As we were expecting to happen, Verizon Wireless has officially opened pre-orders for the GALAXY S 4 today. The pre-orders are available for the 16GB model in black or white, which according to details coming from the carrier, will ship by the end of May. Specifically, Verizon is saying the GALAXY S 4 pre-orders will ship by May 30.

While we have yet to see some of the specifics from Verizon Wireless, we now know they will have GALAXY S 4 pre-orders available as of tomorrow. The details have arrived by way of their official @VZnews Twitter account, however despite being able to move forward with a pre-order on April 25 -- we are still yet to see an official release date.

Verizon Wireless begins pushing latest Samsung Stratosphere update
Verizon Wireless has detailed and begun pushing the latest software update for the Samsung Stratosphere. Those with a Stratosphere can expect an update that brings a handful of what Verizon describes as "device enhancements." This is one that will have Stratosphere users sticking with their current version of Android, but hopefully with a few less issues than before.

Previous reports pegged voice-over LTE support as coming to Verizon Wireless in 2013, however based on new details it is now looking as if that support will not be arriving until next year. These latest details come by way of Verizon CFO Fran Shammo who said the voice-over LTE support would be launching commercially in "early next year."

Coming off some recent rumors and FCC sightings, the Pantech Perception has officially been announced by Verizon Wireless. The handset will be a global ready device and is launching with a feature called Motion Sense, which will let you control certain aspects of your phone with the wave of your hand. First and foremost, the Pantech Perception will be available in a few days time, on April 25.

Verizon Wireless had already confirmed that a device payment plan was coming available. The one part that we didn't see with the previous confirmation though, was any specifics. Basically, Verizon had said a payment plan was coming and that was about it. The original LG Lucid may have come available more than a year ago. Not to mention the bit out the follow-up LG Lucid 2 having been released just a few short weeks ago, however this Monday morning brings talk of the original Lucid making a comeback. The Pantech Perception is a name we have heard before. Of course, the catch with that is we have yet to hear anything official from Pantech or the expected carrier, which in this case happens to be Verizon Wireless. Instead the Pantech Perception details have include a few leaks along with an FCC filing. Details began leaking back in January, however that FCC filing was discovered towards the end of February.

In this case, Verizon Wireless has announced their latest round of new and expanded 4G LTE coverage. This latest touches on markets across several states to include California, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
