Verizon Galaxy Nexus OTA update details — Google releases factory image
The day is here and Verizon has released the Galaxy Nexus -- finally! Everyone that ran out and bought one should be receiving an over the air (OTA) automatic software update almost out of the box. Verizon has provided full update details and the information is available below for those interested in the little update that probably is also the cause of our delays. We also have the factory image for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus available today thanks to Google.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus Simulator webpage goes live
Hmm. We are still waiting for any sort of official announcement from Verizon that this phone is actually launching this week, but at least they are dropping us a few small hints. Verizon has just released a "simulator" page that allows users to basically experience the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from within a browser. Yes this is neat -- but I'd really just like the phone please.

Any Verizon 4G phone marked down $100, but there’s a catch…
This may be some excellent news for those of you looking to pick up a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (or any other Verizon 4G phone for that matter). Verizon has been contacting some of its customers with a $100 instant rebate to any of their 4G phones if their customer was previously the owner of a 3G-only smartphone. Though they've been contacting select customers - all Verizon subscribers that fall into this situation are eligible.

Motorola DROID XYBOARD 8.2″ hands-on
We just got our hands on one of the latest tablets from team Motorola and Verizon this afternoon, the Motorola DROID XYBOARD 8.2" 4G LTE tablet. Other than the bizarre name you'll quickly notice a few unique things about this slate out of the box. A perfectly sized 8.2" IPS display and some of that Moto Blur UI over Honeycomb to name a few. We have our hands-on video and a few photos below for your enjoyment.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 with Verizon 4G LTE coming soon
If those new DROID XYTBOARD tablets aren't what you were hoping to buy this holiday season it looks like the sneaky Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE will be headed to Verizon shortly. After hearing nothing since it was announced at IFA, lately we've seen a little stir at the FCC and now it appears to be ready to hit Verizon with 4G LTE on board.

Motorola DROID XYBOARD tablets in stores and available now [Pics]
Verizon officially announced the new Motorola DROID XYBOARD tablets finally and we are happy to inform everyone that they are in stores and available for purchase right now -- not the 12th like reported by Verizon. After strolling by our local Verizon Store they were out and available to demo and the employee said they are available in stores starting today nationwide. Here's some pictures.

DROID XYBOARD tablets arriving at Verizon, Launch date unknown
Just like the popular Galaxy Nexus we are now hearing the Motorola DROID XYBOARD tablets are also starting to arrive in stores and on the shelves at Verizon Wireless -- only on shelves in the back room of course. Neither of these devices have an official launch date and are chillin in what I'd like to call "Verizon Limbo" because you know as much as we do at this point. Same probably goes for all the retail employees.

Motorola DROID XYBOARD tablets have GSM support — disabled by Verizon
Those new Motorola Xoom 2 tablets headed for Verizon Wireless that have been officially been named the DROID Xyboard apparently have a dirty little secret. These new slates recently cleared the FCC with 4G LTE on board but new details have now confirmed they also have full GSM capabilities too.

Verizon 4G LTE turns 1 year old today, teases Galaxy Nexus in press release
While it only seems like last month that Verizon Wireless launched their 4G LTE network, today the blazing fast speeds actually had their first birthday. Today Verizon's 4G LTE turns 1 years old -- yay! We look back and remember tearing open that awesome HTC Thunderbolt and giving those lightning and bolting fast 4G speeds a test run.
