HTC Thunderbolt gets a new Gingerbread build leaked

HTC's Thunderbolt was cutting edge when it launched as the first phone to use Verizon's blazing 4G LTE network. Unfortunately it also launched a version behind with Froyo, and still hasn't received an official update from Verizon. Luckily, as is tradition, test builds have been leaked and the vert latest RUU (HTC's flashable ROM format) is available at XDA.

Motorola DROID Bionic appears in a few more Best Buy Ads

Anyone heard of this phone? It's called the DROID Bionic and I don't think I've seen much about this phone lately. Almost daily now we have seen a leak or a photo of some sort and it's to the point of almost irritation. Can Verizon just release this bad boy already? Today new pictures are popping up from multiple sources showing the Droid Bionic as "coming soon" in Best Buy ad magazines and more.

Verizon LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is Rooted and Hacked to Run Netflix

This isn't much of a surprise, since we've already seen root for the Google IO and retail WiFi versions of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but happy news none-the-less. Verizon's new LTE-toting version of the world's slimmest Android tablet is officially rooted thanks to the fellows at XDA. With root comes all your favorite hacks and mods, including the ability to stream your Netflix movies, over that screaming fast LTE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE Official Launch Date Confirmed: July 28th

While we can't technically say it's 100% official it has been just about confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Verizon 4G LTE will indeed be launching and available in stores starting July 28th. That is Thursday and is the exact date we suspected earlier in the week. It is exciting to see this coming to market but I'm still wondering where the 4G LTE hardware upgrade for all the Xoom owners went.
