Multi-user Accounts coming to Android – tweaks enabled in Jelly Bean

Multiple user accounts in Android would be awesome right? Think about that "living room tablet" the entire family shares, or the Nexus 7 as your Google Fiber TV remote. If Android had multiple user accounts you could simply sign in and enjoy all your apps, your bookmarks, and your tablet. Then the rest of the family can too on their own accounts when they use it.

Palm’s Matias Duarte joins Google as User Experience Director for Android

Matias Duarte, Palm’s senior director of human interface and user experience, has decided to leave the company. Most of you may know HP recently acquired Palm a few weeks ago. There have been rumors that he could land at Google and help out with the development of Android. Those rumors were recently confirmed by Engadget.

World’s first $99 laptop goes Android, Cherrypal drops Linux in favor of Android (still Linux)

Everyone is jumping on the Android bandwagon as of late. And that’s great news for us, we will get a bunch of new different devices from almost every sector of the tech world. The Cherrypal Asia will be a $99 android laptop. It will ship with Android 1.6 and will feature a 7inch screen. There will also be an option to upgrade to a wide screen 10.1 inch version.

Dell Sparta, Athens and Looking Glass Pro
