Motorola Xoom Upgraded to 4G LTE in the wild

More Motorola Xoom 4G LTE news is coming out today. I guess I'll start calling it 4G since the update is coming soon although we can't call it the first 4G LTE tablet since the Galaxy Tab 10.1 stole that title. What we are seeing now is a Motorola Xoom with full 4G service in the notification tray below. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 looks a bit different and although this could just be fake, the possibility that it is real should excite a few Xoom owners.

Motorola Xoom 4G LTE upgrade finally starting for test group?

All you Motorola Xoom 3G owners may have some exciting news hitting your inbox in the next few days. I wont call it 4G because it still isn't a 4G device, not to mention that the saying "first 4G LTE tablet" is no longer something Motorola can claim since the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE took that crown. New reports are suggesting the Verizon and Motorola 4G LTE hardware upgrade is now ready to start for the Xoom.

Motorola Xoom 4G LTE Upgrade Not Coming Until September

I guess we can't really say that the Xoom 4G LTE upgrade has been delayed because we never truly knew when it was coming. When it went on sale February 24th 2011 buyers were told the upgrade would come within the next 3 months. So according to that time frame I guess I could say the update has now been delayed.

Verizon Offering 1 Year Contract to Lock Customers Back In

This comes as a little surprise does it not? From this leaked email it appears Verizon is trying to lock in a few of those subscribers that are walking around off-contract and have yet to sign a new 2-year contract with Verizon. Maybe they don't want to lose then, or any contract is better than nothing so they are now offering 1 Month of service free as well as a 1-year contract extension for select customers.

Motorola Tablet Hits the FCC, Might be the Xoom LTE or Xoom 2

This is a bit of interesting news that will surely make a few readers happy, and also probably a few upset for those still waiting on the original Xoom to get upgraded to 4G LTE. What looks to be a Motorola Tablet with 4G LTE radios has been seen clearing the FCC. Being seen only by the FCC ID IHDP56LU2. Interesting bit of news that is for sure, I sure hope Verizon and Motorola update us Xoom owners before launching something else or they might have an angry mob headed their way.

Verizon Q2 pricing leaked, what DROID is right for you?

DROID... You've all seen the commercials, and the red eye on all of the top tier Verizon Wireless Android Smartphones. So what is right for you? I guess this varies from person to person depending on needs, availability, pricing and all those other exciting things like 4G LTE or a front facing camera. They are tough choices with phones getting better and better lately. It seems they all are just awesome.
