Galaxy Note 8 and ASUS FonePad reportedly both coming in April
For those of you that absolutely love the idea of a phablet, we have some potentially good news today. While we try not to use that word too often, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and ASUS FonePad are exactly that. Massive 7 and 8-inch tablets that just so happen to have full phone features. If you've been dying to try one, at least one UK retailer says they'll both launch in April.

We are beginning to get a look at what we can expect in terms of a US release for the GALAXY S 4, the one catch is that we have yet to see any specific dates. That doesn't seem to be as much of an issue for those in the UK though as EE has announced an exact release date as well as the date when pre-orders will be available.

We never technically got an actual release or launch date from HTC regarding their flagship One smartphone, although many UK retailers have confirmed March 15th was the day. We haven't heard a word from US carriers regarding the launch, but earlier today UK retailer Clove confirmed the device has been delayed by HTC. Sadly it won't arrive until the end of March. After reaching out to confirm with HTC, the details below are what we received in reply.

Having recently unveiled the 7-inch and 10-inch models of the MeMO Pad tablet, ASUS has come forward with some release details for those in the UK. The details include pricing and release dates and it looks like the first to arrive will be the larger of the two tablets. Specifically, we are talking about the 7-inch MeMO Pad ME172V and the 10.1-inch MeMO Pad ME301T tablets.

Archos unveiled the full line of Titanium tablets back during CES and as of today there is word of availability for those on the UK. In this case we are referring to the Archos 80 Titanium which will bring an 8-inch IPS display and options for either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage space. The catch here, the 16GB model will be sold exclusively with Carphone Warehouse.

Given the steep cost of a new smartphone, picking one that's perfect for you can be a pretty daunting task. We often turn to retailer employees when it comes time to pick a new handset, asking them for suggestions about which phone would be ideal for our lives. As it turns out, employees at some of the biggest phone retailers in the UK seem to suggest Samsung handsets over Apple's iPhone line more often.
