In case you've missed it or aren't following along, today is a great day for Android fans to start following @GoogleNexus and @Android on Twitter. It appears Google is about to start the next giveaway for the Galaxy Nexus. While you're at it you might as well follow @Androids too. I'm sure many of you have been following along the many scavenger hunt games in the past, but now the time for the DROID RAZR is finally here. The folks at @DroidLanding have started the first round for the DROID RAZR scavenger hunt so be sure and follow them for all the details. The DroidDoes.com site has also been initiated with a game of its own. The details are still a bit blurry but once everything gets under way we'll be sure to update everyone.

Halloween is just a few short days away (scary noises) and we have a few treats we thought we'd share before the weekend gets under way. First off we have some Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich carved right into a pumpkin directly from our friends at Google thanks to their @Android twitter page, then we've spotted a few more Android pumpkins and even a few Halloween games and deals. Archos 80 G9 tablet rooted, still a work in progress
The new Archos G9 series tablets haven't been out long, but as usual the developer community is already working hard at figuring out the goods and bringing a root method for all. The popular @PaulOBrien has been hard at work with the new Archos 80 G9 Honeycomb tablet and has finally achieved root access. He does however mention that it was not an easy task and it is still a work in progress before any sort of details and instructions will be released. Progress is progress though right?

We have seen a few updates for Google TV in the recent past including a large update back in March. Yesterday @GoogleTV tweeted some exciting news for today, and for the future. A decently sized minor update is rolling out now and should be hitting Google TV devices over the next few days. Then they mention something major coming soon.

We have seen a lot of tweets and praying for unlocked bootloaders for the popular new HTC EVO 3D and Sensation 4G, latest report from HTC states an update will be available in August or September. Thanks to the amazing developer community of Android we might just get a unofficial unlock today from the teams at Unrevoked and AlphaRevX.

ASUS Transformer Android 3.2 Update Coming Tomorrow
It's finally here, well tomorrow at least. July 28th the update is starting. Today @ASUS tweeted that starting tomorrow the Asus Eee Pad Transformer will begin getting the update to Android 3.2 Honeycomb and it should roll out OTA within a few weeks to all devices. We already knew that this was coming soon but now it will officially be here.
