Twitter have just issued a quick software update to their mobile applications. The official Twitter for Android received a few neat new features and smoother animations, but the iPad and iOS apps got even more new features. While I won't get into token limits or the killing of TweetDeck, we will explain the new update in detail below.
Twitter regarding the highly popular Android, iOS, and desktop client TweetDeck. After acquiring the company in 2011 and basically letting the Android app go completely neglected, Twitter today confirmed they'll be killing the awesome app all together. They'll remove it from the Play Store, deactivate Facebook integration, and soon remove its access completely.
Falcon Pro app recently reached the 100k user token limit enforced by Twitter. This means bad news for those who may have been considering a purchase, but perhaps more important here -- it also places the developer in a bit of a sticky situation. You see, the developer wants to keep the app available for current users, but also needs a way to discourage new users from making the purchase.

The app touted itself as being "Pure Twitter" and "Pure Android" and there was little to disagree with as it was a solid app. The bad news arrived later on when the developer, Chris Lacy, decided to stop active development on the app.

Google in the social network scene. While Google+ is still a bit of a ghost town compared to Facebook (or is it) the amount of active daily users and discussion has exceeded Twitter. Yup, Google+ is now the second most active social network behind Facebook.
Falcon Pro, but this week the developer have pushed out another massive update for the popular Twitter app. It's difficult to find good app support in this day and age, but thankfully, the person behind Falcon Pro - Joaquim Vergès - is all too willing to constantly improve and tweak his app. Even though the app received significant updates at the end of December and then again at the beginning of January, Vergès is back just a couple of weeks later with even more features to add to the already long list.
Angry Birds? Temple Run maybe? The developers behind the popular runner Temple Run have recently announced that just Christmas day alone their popular mobile game saw over 2.5 million downloads. A record in a single day.
