ASUS readies new Transformer tablets for Computex

If a handful of Transformer models (many of them yet to go on sale) isn't enough for you, then you'll want to keep a close watch on Android Community come Thursday. That's when ASUS is set to reveal new models at the Computex conference in Taipei, according to their latest teaser video. In typical ASUS fashion it's intentionally vague, with an overbearing voice over and precisely zero specific information.

ASUS Transformer update rolling out now, Netflix included

All of you lucky ASUS Eee Pad Transformer owners should be happy to know an OTA update is hitting devices today. No, this is not Ice Cream Sandwich sadly but there are a few changes and improvements and so far we are hearing good things. The Transformer was updated to Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb late September, the latest version of Honeycomb and today that hasn't changed but we do have build version 8.6.5.18 in a small incremental update.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer might be the first tablet to ICS

First off, this isn't really exactly news because isn't this what we all expect when we buy Android? That our devices at some point will get updated to the latest and greatest OS as they become available? At least most right? While this story is completely obvious I'm sure many will be extremely happy to hear that the ASUS Transformer will indeed be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. What's even better is it might also be the first tablet to receive the update, although the Xoom might have something to say about that.

This morning ASUS has started pushing an over the air update to the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet bring the popular slate to build version 8.6.5.13 but the biggest thing here is the update is also pushing it to Honeycomb 3.2.1 too.
