ASUS Transformer Prime quad-core tablet that need root access we have some good news for you. The latest over the air update for the Prime that broke root -- has finally been rooted and now everyone that wants to take that route can dive in. More details after the break.
Transformer Prime its a little depressing to see all these different issues starting to appear. After we received our first hands-on with the Tegra 3 powered device it has seen issues regarding WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connections -- not to mention being out of stock almost everywhere and impossible to buy. The update to Android 4.0 ICS has gone relatively smooth other than a few issues, and now they've announced a newer and better Transformer Prime 700 series.
Transformer Prime only this time around the specs have been improved in a few key areas. The new model, being called the TF700T, will be touting the same IPS display only instead of 1280x800 they've boosted the resolution to 1920x1200 and made a few other small changes as well.
Tablet Writings reports that the Asus office in charge of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg stated that a 3G Transformer Prime will be available some time in the future.
Transformer Prime being in stock a few times recently but they seem to sell out faster than our fingers can type. ASUS and their hotly anticipated quad-core tablet has been selling out everywhere and with good reason. Anandtech have torn down the Transformer Prime quad-core tablet and revealed their finding on those GPS issues -- but didn't comment much on the bootloader.
ASUS Transformer Prime has been rooted by a few awesome developers from the Android community. Thanks to @TeamAndIRC and their new root tool that hasn't yet been released we now have root access on the quad-core Transformer Prime. With all the recent bootloader news this is a good start indeed.
